Villa Victoria
As a Lewis Hine Fellow through Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies, I worked for a year with residents at Villa Victoria, a historic public housing project in Boston designed by and for an existing Puerto Rican community. Building from teaching and working with the teen and eldery programs, the project interviewed and photographed dozens of residents, creating a multi-generational portrait of a community. The project was exhibited on site at the Villa Victoria Center for the Arts, as well as at Duke’s Center for Public Policy.
